The 4-0-1 * My Vanilla Sock Pattern

After many years and lots of questions about the pattern I used for my vanilla socks, I finally wrote it down.
I hope you will be able to knit many well-fitting socks using this pattern.
What you will need:
1 skein of fingering weight yarn with roughly 400-420 meters per 100 grams
2.75 mm double pointed knitting needles OR needle size to get gauge
tapestry needle
